Dr. Ramez Awwad is a native of Syracuse, NY. He has been practicing Otolaryngology in the Albany area since 2006. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from the University of Rochester. He attended medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. He then went on to complete a five-year residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at SUNY-Syracuse.
Dr. Awwad is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine. He currently serves as President of the Medical Board of American Cancer Society HopeClub of the Capital Region. Dr. Awwad offers care for all adult and pediatric Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) disease including: Pediatric and Adult Sinusitis, Pediatric Ear Infections, Nasal Obstruction and Allergy, Tonsil and Throat Illness, Chronic Ear Disease, Thyroid and Parathyroid Disease, Voice and Swallowing Problems, Snoring and Sleep Apnea and, Head and Neck Cancers.
