Dr. Sara C. Scheid has practiced otolaryngology in the Albany, New York, area since 2004. Before coming to New York’s Capital Region, she was an attending surgeon at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in PA and a faculty member at Drexel Medical College. She completed her residency in Otolaryngology at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, where she gained extensive expertise in all areas of head and neck surgery.
In addition to her training in general Ear, Nose and Throat, Dr. Sara Scheid is a leading expert in the treatment of voice disorders and a member of the prestigious Voice Foundation. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology, a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine and one of three specialty fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics in the New York Capital Region. Dr. Scheid also proudly serves on the board of Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region, Inc.
