Sara C. Scheid, MD, FAAP
Capital Region Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) was started in 2007 by Dr. Sara C. Scheid who has practiced otolaryngology in the Albany, New York, area since 2004. Before coming to New York’s Capital Region, she was an attending surgeon at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in PA and a faculty member at Drexel Medical College. She completed her residency in Otolaryngology at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, where she gained extensive expertise in all areas of head and neck surgery.
In addition to her training in general Otolaryngology, Dr. Sara Scheid is a leading expert in the treatment of voice disorders and one of onnly three specialty fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics in the New York Capital Region who still operates. Dr. Sara Scheid is a member of both the American Academy of Otolaryngology and American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Scheid is also a diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and was recently named to the board of Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region, Inc.
Dr. Sara Scheid offers care for all adult and pediatric Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) disease including: Pediatric and Adult Sinusitis, Pediatric Ear Infections, Nasal Obstruction and Allergy, Tonsil and Throat Illness, Chronic Ear Disease, Thyroid and Parathyroid Disease, Voice and Swallowing Problems, Snoring and Sleep Apnea and, Head and Neck Cancers
