As a specialty practice dealing with children we feel it is important to share with our patients and their families our philosophy. It is our goal to provide the highest quality medical care to infants and children with all of the compassion and concerns of a parent.
We feel that an ear, nose and throat physician who specializes in the care of children must know when a child will grow out of a problem and when they will not. With this approach in mind, our recommendations are often conservative. Capital Region Ear, Nose & Throat treats children with dignity and respect. We also recognize the needs of parents and feel it is vital to address those needs. Capital Region Ear, Nose & Throat believes in educating the parent so that they can make the best choices for their children. Trust is very important to us. We realize that parents trust us with their most valuable possession, their child. Capital Region Ear, Nose & Throat is honored with the privilege to care for their children.
Dr. Sara Scheid or Dr. Ramez Awwad will examine every child seen in our office. Other Pediatric hearing and speech professionals from our staff will assist them as is indicated. Patients are thoroughly informed of all examination results. When treatment plans are required, they are carefully reviewed.
